WHY PVD COATING?

PVD Coating Defined

PVD stands for Physical Vapor Deposition—an industrial process in which a coating is applied to a metal surface via a heated vacuum chamber. With many years of experience applying PVD Coating to machine parts and cutting tools to stand up to punishing repetitive motion, we found PVD Coating to be a no-brainer for guns.

WHY PVD COATING?

Unwavering Protection

PVD Coating protects slides and barrels against normal wear and tear of your firearm. After your gun is coated, you can expect an increased lifespan for your gun with unrivaled toughness and great lubricity that is so micro-thin that it doesn’t interfere with operation.

WHY PVD COATING?

Better Performance

The micronized nature of the PVD Coating means there is no added thickness to affect performance, while the low friction coefficient reduces resistance and heat buildup. This helps prevent jamming and sticking of sliding parts, making PVD the ideal choice for gun slides.
